Thorhild Widvey

Thorhild Widvey is a Member of the Board of Origination. She brings more than 20 years of experience from both the public and private sectors in Norway, with deep expertise in the energy industry and public policy.

Widvey has previously held ministerial roles as Norway's Minister of Petroleum and Energy and Minister of Culture and has also served as State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her extensive board experience includes serving as Chair of Statkraft and as a board member of Aker, ENI Norge, Nordic Mining, and Solstad Offshore. In addition, she is Chair of Vår Energi, The Bergen International Festival and a board member of the Queen Sonja Print Award (QSPA), as well as several smaller companies. Her combination of strategic leadership, energy sector insight, and governance experience makes her a strong contributor to Origination's board.
